At Marketing Zaanstreek, we're always on the lookout for enthusiastic interns who want to help us promote the Zaanstreek region via Zaans.nl. You'll be a fully integrated member of our team and will be given plenty of scope to discover what you enjoy and the areas where you'd like to improve.
Who are we?
Marketing Zaanstreek puts the Zaanstreek region on the map for visitors and residents alike. We run campaigns, organise events, develop itineraries and manage various social media channels to promote the region. You'll be joining a small, friendly and informal team in a unique location: the former chocolate factory in Zaandam.
What will you be doing?
No two days are the same. During your placement, you'll help with tasks such as: - Distributing promotional material in the Zaanstreek region - Maintaining contact with our partners - Assisting with campaigns and events - Contributing ideas for new initiatives and campaigns - Minor marketing and communications tasks - Collecting content for social media or websites
We think it's particularly important that you tell us what you enjoy and what you'd like to learn. We'll try to tailor your placement to this as much as possible.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who: - You should have a higher national vocational education ( HBO) level of thinking - Currently studying a degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism, Leisure or a similar subject - Knows the Zaan region well - Someone who isn't put off by phoning people or popping into places - You are sociable and enthusiastic - Takes the initiative - Keen to learn new things
