What will you do?
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various sawing machines. You will create sawing programs on the machine, process sawing orders according to instructions, and ensure that material is used as efficiently as possible. In doing so, you will focus not only on speed but also, and especially, on quality, dimensional accuracy, and minimizing waste.
During work, you carefully check the sawn orders. Are the dimensions correct and does the result meet the requirements of the order? Then the material can proceed to the next step in the production process. Additionally, you perform basic maintenance on the machines according to the agreed-upon procedures and ensure that tools are used and maintained correctly for each machine.
Keeping the machines clean is also part of your duties. Do you notice a shortage, malfunction, or deviation? Then report it to your supervisor. Do you see opportunities to work smarter, safer, or more efficiently? Then communicate these according to the applicable procedures.
