Vanderlande is a rapidly changing organization and within this rapidly changing environment technology tops the strategic agendas. Within Vanderlande IT, we believe that technology is a decisive factor to adapt to this changing environment.
Adapting to this changing environment, Vanderlande runs several programs. These programs touch our core tools: ERP systems, surrounding applications and integrations. Within this role, based within IT, you advise, configure and implement changes in our core tools following business roadmap programs. You work together with business, IT specialists, IT architects and implementation partners.
Your role
As an Application Consultant, you are responsible for the preparation, design, setup, implementation, and support of our Maximo solution . This system is used within the service departments of Vanderlande. You are at the forefront of integrating our service concepts into our service IT landscape. The solution is continuously improved through a number of smaller to very large initiatives. Maximo is integrated with other IT systems (ERP/HRM/PLM systems) through more than 20 integrations .
Your main tasks are:

Translating business requirement into functional and technical requirements -
Translating the requirements into configurations and customizations in Maximo -
Steering the implementation partner(s) -
Conducting unit tests of new configurations and customizations -
Guiding acceptance tests and training key users
